ConvertXtoDVD will take usually around 20-30 minutes for a movie and DVDFlick usually took me about 2 hours ): But if you're taking the video straight from a DVD it sounds like DVDShrink is pretty good (and free) and then you can use the DVD folders/files it pulls off and burn them in IMGBurn.
